ABOUT ME

Hi and thank you for reading! I’m Minna and I’m a certified Health Coach. I completed a health and wellness coaching certificate by IIN in 2021. I specialise in supporting women of all ages in their journeys of making better lifestyle choices for themselves and achieving their desired weight loss and other wellness related goals. This is my absolute joy and passion, your success is my success. There are not many things that give me greater pleasure than the achievements of my clients. This is my little corner of the world where I can make a positive impact and I give it my all.

Some hard facts about me; I’m 46-years old, a mother of two girls (who are soon going to hit teenage years…) and two dogs (a cockapoo and a toy poodle). I’m originally from Finland where I grew up with my three younger sisters but I moved to London, UK in my mid twenties and it so happened that I ended up marrying a Brit and never returning! These days my husband, children and I live in Dubai, UAE where we moved to last year although we did also live here for four years between 2014 and 2018.

When I was growing up I was very lucky to be brought up by a mum who has always believed in holistic, natural health. She was never one to immediately turn to painkillers and antibiotics when we were sick, only when that was absolutely necessary. She fed us with home cooked meals and every day after school we played outdoors, tiredlessly, in the clean and safe environment of Espoo, Finland no matter the weather. Soda and junk food were never on the menu for us. We had a “candy day” every Saturday, which meant that we could choose one bag of sweets for ourselves. That was pretty much it when it came to desserts. The only other sweets I remember eating as a child were home baked goods that my mum would make if we had guests coming over. Money was tight so restaurant meals were a very exciting once per year kind of event.

As a coach I’m here to support YOU. My coaching style is friendly and informal and I love the bond I form with my clients. Your individual situation is the perfect starting point and your needs dictate where we go with the program. I’m passionate about your success and will be there to cheer you on every step of the way!
